The Evidence Act may strangle Business Transactions

If Evidence Act remains as it is in the next couple of years how will Nigeria competitively contest with others in the new world of market via the net? Are we not heading for a situation that our business transactions with the outside world become paralyzed for lack of protection by the law of evidence? ICT as a means of transacting business is yet to be recognised by the Evidence Act. Digital cameras are merely persuasive and not concrete evidence. Even instant communications have to be documented to serve as good evidence.
